Weekly Recap: Fall 2018 Half Marathon Training - Week 3 (9/24-9/30)
I don’t even know what to say about this past week. I don’t know if it was allergies, current events, lack of sleep, or a combination of a bunch of things, but I felt awful last week.
Race Recap: Hope for Haiti 5K Trail Run 2018
This past weekend, I ran the Hope for Haiti 5K Trail Run. This is the 2nd time I ran this race. I ran it back in 2016 (just at the start of what would become a near year long issue with anemia). I was hoping for a better race this time around...then the unexpected happened.
It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Recent Snapshots: OBX Vacation 2018
Beach vacations are kind of like camp for grown-ups. Bonfires, arts and crafts, outdoor activities...pretty much the perfect vacation if you ask me.
Recent Snapshots: Lancaster PA Vacation Summer 2018
I'm trying to stay more timely with my posts around here, so here's one from our recent (really, only a few weeks ago) trip home to Lancaster, Pa.
Weekly Recap: Training Reboot Week 23 (8/27-9/2)
So I went out three nights in a row this past week - nothing crazy, just out until about 10:30 and a glass or two of wine. And wow, did it wipe me out! A definite reminder that I am not 25 anymore.
