Kits to Keep Kids Entertained During These Crazy Times

Well, friends, these are some strange times. I’ve been stuck at home 24/7 with my kindergartner, thrown into the deep end of homeschooling while also working full-time and it is not easy. (Let me also take this moment to check my privilege: I’m safe at home with a job that has remained relatively unchanged other than being even busier and my big day-to-day worry is keeping my kid entertained.)

That said, it’s still weirder then ever, and hard to not go completely stir crazy. Art and crafts have always been a refuge and sanity saver for me, and my love for subscription boxes and kits (and for stockpiling them) has finally proven to be worthwhile.

We’ve been doing all kinds of arts and crafts the past few weeks, and while I’m definitely not using this time to be my best self and accomplish all the things — unless that just means just getting through the day — I’m at least trying to get in some quality art time.
