Weekly workouts: 10K training week 6 (9/28-10/4) - postpartum week 15

Super quick post just to log my week last week. I missed a few workouts since my mom was in town. We did a lot of walking around downtown Charleston and places in Mount Pleasant, but running took a backseat this week. These things happen, especially when family is in town. We had a wonderful week showing her around Charleston and of course, she was thrilled to be spending time with Baby B.

The week in workouts

Sunday: OFF

Monday 

  • AM workout: 10 minutes core + 10 minutes elliptical (1.42 miles)
  • PM workout: OFF

Tuesday

  • AM workout: 10 minutes core + 10 minutes elliptical (1.33 miles)
  • PM: Track Tuesday - 2.71 miles/9:47 pace 

Wednesday

  • AM workout: 10 minutes core + 10 minutes elliptical (1.21 miles)
  • PM workout: Neighborhood run - 2.91 miles/10:22 pace

Thursday

  • AM workout: 10 minutes core + 10 minutes elliptical (1.25 miles)
  • OFF

Friday: OFF

Saturday: IOP Connector Run 5K -  first race post-baby, 28:02 (9:02 pace)

Total miles run: 8.72
