The quest for a clean-eating protein powder that doesn't contain weird ingredients

Disclaimer: This is  not a sponsored post. I just really love this stuff. I paid for it with my own cash and haven't had any contact with the company regarding posting about it.

Runners love our protein powders. At least this runner does. The problem is that so many of the protein powders out there are also filled with junk. Lots of junk. As someone who tries to eat as whole and clean as possible, this is rather disheartening, and largely the reason I avoided protein powders in general.

Then I came across Perfect Fit Protein and I was so happy to see that's it's gluten-free, non-GMO, vegan, organic, plant-based protein powder. I can pronounce and understand all of the ingredients. The only one that's a little off is guar gum, but I can deal with that since the rest of the ingredients are much better than most other protein powders out there. I'm not super thrilled with Stevia since I tend to use honey, maple syrup or coconut sugar as my sweeteners, but it's much better than a lot of other sugars or sweeteners. So overall, this is one of the better protein powders I've found.

My favorite thing to make with this protein powder is protein pancakes. They're not only tasty and I can make them in a ton of different flavors, including chocolate and gingerbread, but they keep me full. I've also made black bean brownies (and they got D's stamp of approval!) and mixed the protein powder into chocolate almond milk post-run. And of course, you can use it for protein shakes, too.

These taste way better than they look, I promise!

So if you're looking for a clean-eating protein powder, this is definitely a good one, and it comes in either chocolate or vanilla flavors, and you can purchase a box of individual packets or a bag with a scoop.
