Disney Half Marathon: Outfit planning
I'm super excited to be running the Disney Half Marathon in January, and I'm even more excited because I'll be running it with one of my friends from back home in PA.
Normally, I don't worry too much about what I wear for running attire and I'm not the biggest fan of costumes that impede my running, but obviously Disney races are a prime opportunity for some fun getups. Still, I don't want to be too obnoxious. I'm not planning on racing this one at all, but I still want to be comfortable and not tugging at my outfit the entire time. I know I'm still several months out from the race, but time flies and I want to be prepared!
Belle has always been my favorite Disney princess, followed closely by Ariel, so I've been tossing around ideas for those costumes. Right now, I'm leaning toward Belle since I met the friend I'm running the race with at a Halloween party several years ago and we were both dressed as Disney characters - I was Belle and she was Cruella Deville, so we're thinking of recreating those costumes from the night our friendship began.
So for something a little different here on the blog, I put together a few ideas (one for Belle, one for Ariel and just for fun, a Mickey one):
Where to buy:
Belle: Headband | Capris | Skirt | Tank | Running shoes | Bracelet | Necklace
Ariel: Shell necklace | Starfish necklace | Earrings | Capris | Top | Skirt | Running shoes | Bracelet | Headband
Mickey: Running shoes | Headband | Necklace | Bracelet | Capris | Tops
